❄ Will there be a sleeping area for attendees and VIPs at Remcon?

The Remcon Festival is a three-day event with a mixed theme, with fantasy and Far Eastern themes predominating.

Remcon 2026 is the eighth edition of the event, which will be held for the third time at AMBEREXPO in Gdańsk, on February 13-15, 2026.

There are two paid above-ground parking lots in the immediate vicinity of AMBEREXPO:

❄ Until when can you change the picture on your ID badge?

You will find the ticket and the code in the ticket system and in the e-mail confirmation sent after purchasing it. The code is a prefix (depending on the ticket type) and 4 digits, e.g. "U1234".

❄ I bought a ticket online, where can I find the ticket code? Is this a physical ticket?

VIP ticket gadgets will be available for collection during Remcon at the Info Point.

No, tickets are non-refundable.*

Yes, children up to 6 years of age who are under the constant care of their parent/guardian are entitled to free entry to Remcon, after presenting a document confirming the child's age.

❄ Is there a different price list for children?

Yes, but they must have the Convention Member Card (parent's consent) completed by the parent/legal guardian. The card template is available <a href="https://fundacjabt.eu/zgoda26" target="_self">here</a> and on the main page in the "documents" section.

❄ Can minors enter the festival area without a guardian?

❄ Where can I find a consent form from a parent/legal guardian for a minor to stay at Remcon?

Yes! You can leave and return to the Festival area many times. Just remember that the ID should be clearly visible. This lets us know that you are already accredited.

❄ After purchasing/collecting a ticket, can you enter and leave the festival area without limits?

The preliminary attraction plan will be published no later than two weeks before the Festival. Earlier, individual attractions will be announced on our social media.

❄ When will the attraction plan be available?

No, at the current scale of Remcon, we do not yet introduce reservations for seats in attractions.

❄ Do I have to reserve a place if I want to attend the attractions?

Yes! All information regarding reporting attractions will appear in a separate FAQ -&gt; ATTRACTION CREATOR tab (soon)

❄ Can I submit my attraction to Remcon?

No, animals are not allowed on the AMBEREXPO premises.
The exception are assistance dogs. The dog's owner must have documents confirming the dog's training and role, as well as a certificate of completion of the required veterinary vaccinations.

❄ Can I enter the Remcon premises with an animal?

Yes, most of the event takes place on the ground floor. Access to the lecture halls and other attractions on the first floor is possible via elevators.

❄ Is AMBEREXPO adapted for people with physical disabilities?

Yes, you will be allowed to enter the Festival area with an assistance dog (only an assistance dog). The dog's owner must have documents confirming the dog's training and role, as well as a certificate of completion of the required veterinary vaccinations.

❄ Will it be possible to enter the Remcon premises with an assistance dog?

You can apply to participate in the cosplay contest using&nbsp;<a href="https://fundacjabt.eu/zapisycos2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the form</a>.

❄ How can I sign up for the cosplay contest?

You can apply to participate in the cosplay competition until January 31, 2025.

❄ Until when can I apply for the cosplay contest?

Yes, but in this case you can only take part in one competition category - "best scene", in which the performance is taken into account, not the costume made.

❄ Can I perform at a cosplay competition in a purchased costume?

The categories to choose from are:

❄ What categories are there to choose from in the cosplay contest?

People who can sign up in the "debut" category are people who:

<li>can have a maximum of 3 performances in competitions at other events, more than 3 are not covered by this category.</li>

❄ Who can participate in the “Debut” category of the Cosplay Contest?

No, the debut takes place at the same time as the general cosplay competition.

❄ Is the “Debut” category a separate competition?

Yes, such a cloakroom is located at backstage in the Mainroom.

Please do not leave your belongings there after the competition.

❄ Is there a cloakroom for those taking part in the cosplay competition?

It is forbidden to bring real firearms and sharp bladed weapons onto the Remcon premises.

❄ Can I enter Remcon with a real weapon?

You can bring blunt weapon replicas, but you must exercise extreme caution and common sense, especially when taking staged photos or videos, so that no one gets hurt.

In addition, such a replica must be reported during accreditation and appropriately marked by the organizer.

❄ Can I enter the festival with a replica weapon?

As for the ASG replica, according to our regulations, air weapons (ASG, paintball, etc.) may be brought to the event area if they have:

<li>empty magazines and cartridge chambers,</li>

❄ Can I enter with an airsoft replica or paintball marker?

A helper is a volunteer responsible for assisting the organizers with the majority of their work, consisting of various festival services. They provide information to participants, help with their accreditation and perform other tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of the event.

❄ Who is a helper?

<li>opportunity to obtain a volunteer certificate,</li>
<li>refund of the purchased ticket (refunds will occur within 15 business days after the event),</li>
<li>helper bundle &ndash; special badge, t-shirt, extras,</li>
<li>food catering, access to the kitchen appliances in the helper base,</li>
<li>sleep room.</li>
</ul>

❄ What are the benefits of being a volunteer?

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">regularly checking messages and familiarizing yourself with the provided materials (email, discord),</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">taking part in the organized training (online training will take part before the festival).</li>
</ul>

❄ What will we require from you?

<ul>
<li>accreditation - ticket sales, verification of parental consent, issuing badges (ID),</li>
<li>info point and signage - providing information at the info point, distribution of information leaflets, lost and found office, hanging out and maintaining signage/printouts,</li>
<li>vendors - assistance with vendor accreditation and solving problems on demand,</li>
<li>program - assistance with contests and performances, reporting and solving problems in the conference rooms, supplying workshop rooms, lecture rooms and other zones with necessary materials, monitoring the time and course of attractions, directing traffic,</li>
<li>technicians - bringing spiteful equipment back to life, solving other technical problems,</li>
<li>well-being - taking care of your fellow volunteers' well-being and common space, issuing meals, restocking missing products, kitchen equipment supervision,</li>
<li>cloakroom - receiving and issuing jackets and luggage,</li>
<li>helproom - supervision of the other sections, providing helpers with helper bundles, other tasks as needed.</li>
</ul>

❄ What groups will make up the volunteer section and what will they be responsible for?

Yes! If you would like to take part in some specific attractions, let your coordinators know in advance - they will try to adjust the schedule so that you can enjoy the festival. The shifts are divided into smaller numbers of hours so that you could eat, see selected attractions or rest in between them.

❄ Will I have the time to rest and enjoy the festival?

Unfortunately, due to the requirement to be on standby throughout the event, this option is not possible.

❄ Could I be a helper and a vendor at the same time?

Due to the requirement to be on standby throughout the event, the volunteer coordinator will make the separate decision in each case. If you are planning long-term activities on the side, such as managing an attraction zone, the response will likely be negative. However, if you are interested in conducting, for example, a couple hours of lecture, the response will likely be positive.

❄ Could I be a helper and program maker at the same time?

At this moment, we cannot provide you with a sleep room on Thursday. We will let you know if anything changes.

❄ ️Is there a way to provide me a place to sleep on Thursday?

Yes. The maximum refund that can be received from a VIP ticket is 139 PLN (the difference in price between the participant ticket and the VIP ticket, the price of which includes the cost of producing gadgets).
 Refunds are paid after the event, we require filling out the form provided by the organizer. We only make refunds to the account from which the ticket was paid.

❄ I am a helper and purchased VIP ticket, am I entitled to a discount/refund of the ticket price?

If you would like to help organize the event, please apply in our registration system using the <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20250212082326mp_/https:/bilety.fundacjabt.eu/event/remcon-2025/">appropriate form</a>.

❄ How can I apply to be a helper?

Yes, paying for the ticket is required to apply for volunteering via the online form. Refunds of accreditation fees will be processed in accordance with the regulations within 15 days of the event ending. Refunds will only be made to the account from which the ticket was paid.

❄ Do I have to pay for a ticket to volunteer?

If you don't see the button, it may mean that the application period has already passed or hasn't started yet.

❄ I don't see a "Become a helper/volunteer" button on the site. Why?

We accept people who are 16 years of age or older on the day the event begins (if you are under 18 years old we require consent of your parent/guardian).
 Accreditation volunteering requires a minimum age of 18.

❄ Is there an age limit for volunteering?

According to the regulations, each volunteer is required to provide the organizer with a certificate of no criminal record from the Polish National Criminal Register. The certificate must be provided within 30 days of acceptance of the application, via the IT system provided by the organizer. We recommend that you read <a href="https://fundacjabt.eu/volunteersverification" target="_blank" rel="noopener">our guide</a> on how to obtain such a certificate.
 If you have a paper certificate, you are required to send a legible scan using the appropriate form and to have the certificate with you during the event.

❄ Is a certificate of no criminal record required?

All instructions regarding the volunteer registration form can be found directly in the registration system.

❄ What should I include in my application?

❄ I made a mistake in my application, is there any way I can correct it?

If you wish to cancel your application, please contact us urgently by e-mail -&nbsp; wolontariusze@remcon.pl

Please have in mind that cancellations after 01.02 will result in a reduced ticket refund due to the costs of making dedicated gadgets for you (e.g. t-shirt). The greater the time distance from the event, the better. If there are any doubts about your presence at the festival, please report it to us as soon as possible!

❄ I need to resign from the helper function, how do I do that?

Yes. To cancel and refund the ticket, please send an email to: <a href="mailto:bilety@fundacjabt.eu">bilety@fundacjabt.eu</a>.

The ticket will be refunded within 15 business days to the bank account from which the payment was made.

We only make refunds to the account from which the ticket was paid.

❄ Can I cancel my ticket if my application is not accepted?

Applications are accepted until December 31st, 2025. After this time, you can still apply to be on a backup list.

❄ Until when can I apply to be a helper?

The volunteer coordinator will contact you up to two weeks after volunteer applications close.

❄ When will I be informed that my application has been accepted?

Yes! If you are not accepted in the first wave, we will put you on a backup list. If someone drops out, we will contact you to confirm if your application is still valid.

❄ Do you have a backup helpers list?

A special Discord server has been set up for this purpose. You will receive an invitation to join it after being accepted for volunteering. There you will also be initially introduced and meet the entire volunteer team with whom you will build Remcon.

❄ How will we communicate within the team before the event?

Yes! Coordinators will sometimes offer volunteers tasks to do remotely. They are also happy to listen and discuss new ideas, suggestions for improvement, etc.

❄ Is it possible to help before the festival, when I am already on the Discord server?

We ask that you be on the site from 8:00 on Friday. This will allow us to prepare the festival calmly, without the stress and frantic running around.

❄ How early should I arrive at the festival site before it starts?

After receiving your badge at the accreditation, we invite you to the helper base - there you will sign a volunteer agreement with us and as soon as we will have this formality behind us, you will be issued a helper pack. Then the volunteer coordinator will introduce you to everything and assign tasks.

❄ I've already been accredited, what now? Where should I apply first? Where can I pick up my helper bundle?

❄ How do I register an attraction?

Attractions can be submitted no later than December 31, 2025 - that's when we close the attraction registration form in the system.

❄ Until when can I submit attraction?

To apply to be an attraction creator, you need a paid ticket. If your stand is accepted, the fee for your original ticket will be refunded, because you will pay for everything in one consolidated invoice after the stand is accepted. You will discuss the details of the refund for the accepted attraction individually with the attraction coordinator.

❄ I want to be both an vendor and an attraction creator - how do I do it?

The minimum time for an attraction that we plan is 30 minutes. There is generally no upper time limit.
When creating a attraction, it should be noted that a 5-minute time limit is set for attendee rotation. For example, an hour-long presentation will last 55 minutes. Attraction creators will be informed of the approaching end of time limit by volunteers.

❄ How long do the attractions have to be?

Yes, paying for the ticket is required to register an attraction via the online form. The ticket will be refunded in accordance with the event regulations within 15 working days to the bank account from which the payment was made.

According to the regulations, each volunteer is required to provide the organizer with a certificate of no criminal record from the Polish National Criminal Register.

The certificate must be provided within 30 days of acceptance of the application, via the IT system provided by the Organizer (if you already have such a document, you can also attach it when submitting the application).

Yes! One hour of attraction - 50% ticket refund, two hours - 100% ticket refund. This rule applies to standard tickets, in the case of VIP tickets you can get a 55 PLN or 100 PLN discount on the ticket price.

Refunds are paid after the event, after filling in the form provided by the organizer in accordance with the regulations of the creators of attractions.

We make refunds only to the bank account.

Please note that discounts are divided by the number of presenters. e.g. in the case of two presenters and two hours of attraction, both people receive a 50% ticket refund.

Please also remember that the discount cannot be transferred to another person, even in the case of a significant excess of attractions hours.

❄ Am I entitled to a refund of the cost of my Festival ticket for running the attraction?

Yes, but of course they cannot be greater than 100%.

❄ Are discounts stackable?

In this case, we count on your common sense - we do not have an upper limit for the hosts of the attraction, but we can question it in extreme cases (e.g. a 30-minute lecture and 10 hosts).

Attractions are accepted/rejected no sooner than after closing the applications in our system.

❄ I've completed the application for attraction creators - what now? Will someone contact me?

Yes, as the creator of the attraction you have a separate (priority) queue.

This queue will be marked accordingly at the Festival and mentioned before it on social media.

❄ Is the creator of the attraction entitled to a separate queue for accreditation?

If you are running a contest / tournament, the convention currency will be given to you at the very beginning of the panel by our volunteers.

❄ How will I get convention currency?

An attraction zone should be understood as a developed space in the EXPO hall where a group/organisation organises attractions for attendees in various forms (e.g. exhibitions, lectures, board games, music games, workshops, tournaments, integration games) focused on a given theme or multiple themes throughout the duration of the festival.
